Green Kids Cook. Jenny Chandler

My latest book joins the dots between eating well and caring for the planet. Our children are increasingly overwhelmed by so much news about climate change, here’s away to empower them and get them eating more veg’ at the same time.

“Such an important book that weaves together the fun and playfulness of food with positive and practical ways kids can make a difference to the world by how they cook and eat. I can’t wait to cook from it with my son.”  Anna Jones

Cool Kids Cook, Jenny Chandler May 2016
Cooking is not only a great life skill it leads to healthier more adventurous eating too. This book is about “real” food not just cup cakes and treats. Aimed at the 7+ age (although a lot of my adult friends have confessed that they will be using it) it’s both challenging and fun.

Pulse Cover

I’m still proud and excited about my book, Pulse. Legumes, along with whole grains really are the way forward. They’re delicious, infinitely versatile, nutritious and an absolute bargain too.

Here are all the recipes that I love to cook: some traditional, some new-wave, some veggie, others meaty, food for quick suppers and splendid feasts.

I’ve have also written two books about the amazing food of Spain, both published by Pavilion. Why? Yes, I am English but Spain, and Catalonia in particular, feels like my second home. I’ve spent years eating, sharing food with friends, chasing stories, traveling and photographing out there.

The Real taste of Spain

The Real Taste of Spain is all about home cooking and really understanding the ingredients too. I spent years collecting recipes and tips from generous locals in the markets and from all my wonderful Spanish friends. You can order it from local bookshops or buy it online.

the food of northern spain

You may have problems tracking down my first book,
The Food of Northern Spain (hint, hint publishers –       another print run please). I saw it online the other day for £137, of course it’s worth every penny!

Such a great little video, very informative and you really bring the book to life and what a beautiful book.
Your delightfully photographed blog is very much ‘me’ and I feel quite at home here. The mix of food, nature and family life gives it a very warm, natural flow. Really very lovely.

Thanks so much for your kind words. I keep meaning to do more videos, it’s just time – never have enough. Very envious of you living in your country cottage but still not sure that I could give up Bristol. Need 2 parallel lives really!

Hi Jenny – thanks so much for sharing all your recipes in Pulse. I’ve tried out so many and they have all been delicious. Tonight was Tuna & Cannellini Bean Salad. A simple supper, but oh so tasty.
